We build on hardware we can stand behind.

SCADA MASTERS designs, programs and commissions the system. The equipment underneath it is manufactured by two specialists who have been building this class of product for decades, both in North America.

A water utility keeps its equipment for fifteen years or more, so who makes it matters as much as what it does. Both of our manufacturing partners hold their own designs, keep long production runs, and supply from North America, which is what keeps costs and lead times steady when the market is not. Neither relationship is a badge on a page: the firmware in our radio is written to our specifications, and our deployment standard is applied to every supervision unit before it ships.

Davicom

A division of Comlab, based in Quebec City, Canada. Davicom builds intelligent site monitoring and control units, and its platform supervises critical sites worldwide: water networks, broadcast networks and public safety radio systems. The hardware has been made in North America for more than 40 years.

Our NEURO, CORTEX and AXON products are proprietary versions of that platform, built to SCADA MASTERS specifications for water work. The public formula we use is the honest one: designed and delivered by SCADA MASTERS on Davicom monitoring hardware.

The partnership shows in the product itself. Davicom adapted the platform so the units communicate reliably with each other, master to remote and remote to remote, which is what lets a site act on a peer's reading instead of waiting on the plant. They also build options dedicated to SCADA MASTERS, so the water application behaves the way a utility needs rather than the way a general purpose monitoring product would.

Ritron

Ritron designs and manufactures industrial-grade RF transceivers for demanding telemetry, data and embedded radio applications, and has been doing it from Indiana since 1977. Their own line is described plainly on their site: designed and made in the USA.

The transceiver in our systems is an NXDN very narrowband unit whose firmware is written to SCADA MASTERS specifications, with the anti-collision and retransmission logic that moves a complete command in 12 bits, typically acknowledged in under 2 seconds. It is the part that replaces the carrier.

One number to call when something stops.

Good hardware is the starting point, not the offer. Everything between the sensor and the operator is ours, and so is the responsibility for it.

The design and the logic

Pump alternation, failovers and threshold ladders are engineered for your network, then replayed on the bench before anything is installed.

The radio path

Propagation studies, antennas and the FCC license that makes the link legal, from the same shop that wrote the firmware specification.

The years after

Commissioning and maintenance through your local reseller, with documentation you can read and spares that interchange across every site.
